Harriet Titlow - Animator and Illustrator

Harriet is an animation director who grew up in Norfolk, UK and discovered she was a weird kid who liked to draw all the time (sometimes on the walls). She has been working in the industry for 8+ years, and has experience working as a director, animator, designer and producer, across music videos, advertising, television series and short films. For her own work she loves to tell funny, relatable stories in an appealing, cartoon animated style and relishes the chance to work with fantastic teams in a variety of styles. She has also written several illustrated books and her debut graphic novel, Hattie & Pod, was longlisted in 2023 for the First Graphic Novel Award.

She has been fortunate to work with some brilliant and talented people in her career, working on character designs for The Amazing World of Gumball (Cartoon Network) and working as Producer on Beware of Trains, a BFI funded short animation, with Director Emma Calder. The film was selected for a large number of highly acclaimed festivals such as Annecy International Animation Festival (2022) and Animafest Zagreb (2022).

When not drawing or telling stories, Harriet is mostly found pottering around in her garden in Suffolk, trying to grow stuff.
